NH Open Doors Tour -  The Pottery is Moving to Vermont!
Upcoming Holiday Sales and Online Shopping

What a difference a few months can make . . . there are big changes afoot here at
the pottery!  Amidst upcoming shows, sales, and pottery production are BIG plans
to move my studio to Vermont to share a life, a 50-acre farm, and a new wood
kiln with my talented fiance, potter Nathan Webb!  We're in transition mode
here, all the while throwing pie plates, serving pieces, mugs, and tumblers for
events in Eaton this month and next . . . read all about the news below!

NH Open Doors Studio Tour THIS Weekend!

This Saturday and Sunday, November 8th and 9th, I will be among hundreds of
craftspeople across New Hampshire opening my studio doors to the public.  It's a
great chance to see new pots from October's wood-firing, catch up, and spend a
day exploring Eaton . . . my good friends Beth Griffin,  Jen Kovach, and Janet
Durkee-Prescott, will be selling their pots and tiles, natural bath and body
products, and beautiful bags at Beth's studio on the Eaton Road/Route 153, just
south of the Inn at Crystal Lake.
My studio will be open from 10 to 5 both days . . . hope to see you!

Oh My Goodness . . . I'm Moving!

While it may come as a surprise to many of you, I have decided to leave my
potting life in Eaton, NH, after five wonderful, formative years as an artist . . .
this spring I met and fell in love with another potter (
more than a dream come
true!), and we've decided to spend our life making pots together in a studio in our
field in Bethel (central) Vermont!   I will sorely miss the friendship, generosity,
and support of the community here, but am overjoyed with the vision Nathan
and I share for the future of
our pottery, one we hope you can join us in
celebrating!

We will continue to work out of the Eaton studio through the Christmas holidays,
holding a number of
studio open houses to fulfill all of your "Becca's pots are still
local" needs . . . actually, Nathan and I will
both have plenty of beautiful things for
sale, including his amazing teapots, pie plates, and pitchers.  (Many of you have
requested these things from me over the years, and now they are here!)

We have begun collecting materials for construction of a new kiln and studio, and
are excitedly working away at our projects so we can begin to welcome you to our
new spot as early as the summer of 2009.

Yarmouth, Maine Area Show

I will be in Freeport, Maine, on Saturday, November 22nd, for a Designing
Women Show and Sale at the Merriconeag Waldorf School.  For all you
Yarmouth- area pottery enthusiasts, this will be your chance for holiday shopping .
. . sadly, I will
not be holding my usual Thanksgiving weekend sale, opting instead
to join the group of artists in Freeport for a chance to raise funds for local
charities!  Hope to see you there.

Holiday Open Studio Sales

Nathan and I will hold sales here in Eaton on THREE weekends in December . . .
we'll have new pots and the usual holiday cheer on the following winter days:
December 6th and 7th, December 13th and 14th, and December 19th- 21st;
on all days the studio will be open from 10am to 4pm.
We'll also be available by appointment; don't hesitate to call to set up something
that will work for you!
