The old Bethel Mill on the
White River.

The view down the lane to our
house and future studio..
Wow, Becca's Moving (Moved!) to Vermont!

Here's the scoop!

Starting in 2009, Nathan and I will be living (at least most of the time!) in a
cozy 1850's cape on the site of a former dairy farm in central Vermont.
 Our
new spot is located in the town of Bethel, Vermont, a little over 30 minutes
drive from Hanover, NH and White River Junction, VT.  We have 50 acres
there, including large open fields with views, two ponds, and beautiful woods
filled with natural springs and creeks.  This will serve as our home and our
new pottery location!

We have begun plans for a new studio building, but we're actually starting
work on the kiln first. Our plans are to build a two-
chamber wood- fired kiln
under the cover of a large shed, and we have recently broken ground on the
project!  (Check out photos below . . . )  We're renovating our "milkshed
gallery" presently, we'll start welcoming folks like yourself to our pottery by
t
he holiday season, we hope!
(Check our our new website for photos and updates:
www.twopotters.com/news)

We will continue to show our work with the League of New Hampshire
Craftsmen, including our current
gallery locations, and at the annual Fair at
Mount Sunapee in August.  I will also make it back to my former hometowns
of Yarmouth, Maine, for the
Yarmouth Clam Festival, and Conway, New
Hampshire, for showings at least once a year.

We'll keep you posted!

OK, not the best of
maps, but you get the
idea . . . we border
Royalton (home of the
VT Law School), and
Randolph, and are
within 30 minutes of
Woodstock, Hanover,
and Montpelier . . .
most assuredly on your
way to Burlington- pay
us a visit!

There's our kiln!  Yes, it begins as a ton
(well, actually several tons) of bricks!
These suckers weigh 8 pounds apiece and
we offloaded several thousand by hand!
By the way, I'm learning quickly that no
good Vermont adventure is complete
without the use of the tractor to pull
things (i.e. Bob's truck) out of the mud. :)
This was in October . . .

Here we are in May!
This somewhat sizeable rig has been
digging the site for our new kiln, shed,
and making a moat (!) across our
driveway . . . ground work is hard!
We're busy laying water and power lines
in the direction of the new studio
and kiln site . . . more photos
on the way.  Enjoy!
